There's multiple problems with this: 1. Unless the last years of the Chozo overlapped with the first few years of the Space Pirate arrival, which seems unlikely; all the Space Pirate data and Chozo Lores seem to indicate there was no overlap. Every other Artifact in a Space Pirate controlled location can supposedly be explained by the Chozo's future seeing ability, like the Artifact in Phendrana's Control Tower- the Chozo could have foreseen the Space Pirate building a tower there when they placed the Artifact.
But Phazon Mines didn't exist when the Chozo were placing their Artifacts. Even if they foretold it later being built, that doesn't explain how they got the Artifact down there. How could the Chozo have even placed it there- assuming they did somehow have access to the not yet created Phazon Mines?
We know Phazon physically harmed Samus, who had the Chozo's best armor, and that Phazon had deleterious affects on their mental stability; it seems like the only way to place it there would've been suicide. How the heck did the Chozo even expect Samus to get it?
If it would've been suicide for them to place it, how would it be any different for her? It's seems a bit of a stretch to say the Chozo foretold Omega Pirate being created, Samus fighting it, Samus winning, the thing falling on her and miraculously creating the Phazon Suit.
Their predictions all seemed really vague and unhelpful; to predict the Phazon Suit is far out of the expected. Okay, this isn't a problem with the Artifact of the Newborn, just an in general issue. How did Metroid Prime end up in the Impact Crater? It was in Phendrana or Phazon Mines for a time- don't remember which- when Space Pirates were experimenting with it, then it escaped and presumably dug its way into the Impact Crater. Except, based off what the Space Pirates said, the Artifact Temple should've prevented Prime from doing so.
I know, a lot of nitpicking. I used to love theorizing about games but to do that I had to have free time; this is the first time I've been able to just sit around and think about game worlds in a while haha. Can't do this triple bomb jump. Retrospective on the Prime Era of Metroid. Trying to find a save file with specific conditions. What are the three different endings in the game, and how do i get them?
How do I get past Chozo ice temple? Main Quest. How do I beat Flaagrah? Send all three to the afterlife the X-Ray Visor really helps and the artifact will appear above Flaahgra's remains. Once it's active, the Chozo Statue will grid forward, revealing a hidden door below it. Go down below to find this artifact waiting in a small room. Lava Lake In this large lava-filled cavern you should spot a large rocky pillar in the center of one of the two lakes. Warrior Shrine Access this room via the Monitor Station.
Here's how to reach that door high up along the cavern wall. Get up to the top of the large structure in the Monitor Station with help from the Space Jump Boots, then use the Spinner to raise up a metal bridge.
Jump over to the rocky ledge on the far side then simply stroll around to the door. Once inside, the large Chozo Statue and artifact will be waiting for you atop a throne ahead. Control Tower This artifact is waiting for you at the highest point of Tallon IV you'll be exploring. Melt the ice pouring out of the statue's mouth with the Plasma Beam, then jump onto the statue's hands and activate the Morph Ball to reveal an opening at the base of the bowl.
Roll through to find this artifact inside. Storage Cave The room concealing this artifact lives all the way over in the isolated Phendrana's Edge area. At the very top of this circular region near the entrance leading to a hidden Power Bomb, use the X-Ray Visor to reveal a door hidden behind a rock wall. Blow down the wall with a Power Bomb and head through to find the artifact inside.
Phazon Mining Tunnel Deep down in the bowels of the Mines you'll find yourself in a circular shaft filled with narrow tunnels. At the bottom is a tunnel leading on covered with deadly Phazon, so you'll need the Phazon Suit to get through alive. They'll be in your logbook when you obtain them. Scanning them at the artifact site doesn't count as a separate scan or something.
