When applying for a course through VTAC, you can pop down up to eight preferences which is essentially a list of all the courses you'd be interested in studying. Please note that you will need to list these in order from your most preferred choice of course to your least preferred.
Once you've submitted your application and completed the interview or audition process, you may receive an offer via email to study one of the courses you listed on your preferences.
Cue the celebrations, as this means you've officially been accepted into the course! To accept your course offer, you must enrol into the course online, following the process listed in your offer email. If you'd like to take a break from studying in the meantime and accept the course at a later time, you may also choose to defer your offer for up to one year, which means your spot will be placed on hold until then.
