After Casey makes her realize that Calvin has most likely not told anyone that he's gay, Ashleigh goes to the Omega Chi house to see him. When one of the Omega Chi brothers tells Ashleigh that he's not here, she asks him to give Calvin a gift to show that they're still friends.
He makes a comment to the other brothers about the cute gift from Calvin's girlfriend. Ashleigh tells him that she is not Calvin's girlfriend, to which he says of course not, because Calvin's gay. Not realizing that the frat brother was being sarcastic, she surprisingly asked all the brothers if they knew Calvin was gay too. Seeing the brothers' shocked faces, Ashleigh realizes that she just outed Calvin and leaves. Later, she sees Calvin at Dobler's. After he apologizes to her, Ashleigh tells him that she accidentally outed him to his fraternity brothers.
Before she can explain, a frustrated Calvin storms out. Ashleigh gets together with Fisher, the Hasher, and pursues a secret romantic relationship with him.
Eventually, they both come out to the house as a couple. During a school event, Ashleigh looks down on the guys who paint themselves blue and white, and then she learns Fisher is one and is thrown for a loop. She gets over it, realizing that what she is interested in and what he is interested in don't have to be the exact same thing.
At a party, Rebecca kisses Fisher, and a few days later, Rebecca admits it to Casey. Casey swears that she won't tell Ashleigh because it will only hurt her. Rebecca shouts out that she kissed Fisher and Casey knew after she was too worried that Casey would tell Ashleigh. Ashleigh turns against both of them immediately. When the fathers of the house come to ZBZ, they fight over their daughter's feuds.
Towards the end of the episode, Ashleigh forgives Casey, but refuses to do the same for Rebecca. Later, Ashleigh decides to forgive Fisher as well, but continues to hold out on Rebecca until they both make a bet at the fundraising gala. If Ashleigh raises the most money, Rebecca will have to be the "Sober Sister" for the rest of the year, and if Rebecca wins, Ashleigh has to forgive her.
In the end, by both explaining their end of the story, Ashleigh gets the most donations, but Rebecca makes the most money. Ashleigh declares that she won, but ends up exonerating Rebecca anyways. Ashleigh and Fisher get back together, but he lies to her about how he liked Clueless and she begins to distrust him again.
She also sees him hanging out with other girls and being in more active conversations than he ever has been with her. Over Winter Break, Ashleigh accidentally meets his "other girlfriend" and breaks up with him. At the nerd auction, she runs into him with another girl and downs a shot from a test tube. Cappie sets Ashleigh up with Beaver, and while Casey doesn't find it odd, Ash finds it hilarious. Ashleigh is extremely close with her father.
Ashleigh says that she tells her father almost everything about her life. She even told her father about her secret relationship with Fisher before she told Casey and Rebecca.
Both Casey and Rebecca agree that Ashleigh's relationship with her father is very strange, such as the fact that they are friends on facebook. Travis is Ashleigh's high school boyfriend. Ashleigh hired Fisher as the ZBZ hasher. They at first kept their relationship a secret, but they eventually made their relationship public. Unluckily, Evan is also a member. Cappie and Casey get together during Thanksgiving and remain together until the end of the season when Cappie breaks things off with Casey leaving her devastated.
In season 3 episode 18, Cappie's parents, Tobias and April, make their first appearance. Their visit, unfortunately, is to tell Cappie that they were separating. Cappie finally declares himself a major, Philosophy. He then accidentally graduates by the end of the season. Cappie and Casey reunite and leave CRU together. Growing up, Cappie moved around a lot with his parents, Tobias and April. They aren't known as mom and dad but by their first names.
They met Casey as well for the first time and the four of them went camping. However, Casey was horrified upon realizing that Cappie's parents actually wanted him to take his time with college rather than graduating. Casey is Cappie's first love. She is described by him as the love of his life and his purpose. They met freshman year at a Kappa Tau party and, even though Evan approached her first, it was clear that Casey was more attracted to Cappie.
They started a six-month relationship which ended when he forgot to take her to the All Greek Ball. By the start of the series, they are broken up with Cappie still having feelings for her. They hook up after Evan cheated on Casey and later kiss passionately when working an a project together. When Cappie becomes involved with Rebecca, Casey is shown to be extremely jealous.

At the Kappa Tau house, Rusty is looking forward to being an active after a year of hazing and serving the brothers, only to find he is still treated the same as a 'Post-pledge' until the freshman arrive on campus.
Jordan attends a Kappa Tau party on invite from Rusty, during which she makes out with Andy. Rusty's situation worsens when Andy joins Kappa Tau, and Cappie makes Rusty his big brother in the house. Casey struggles with her feelings for Cappie whilst dating Max Michael Rady , forcing Casey and Cappie to argue and agree to not be friends anymore; however, Cappie comes to her aid when the ZBZ homecoming float breaks down and the two make up.
Rusty, unable to hide his feelings for Jordan, kisses her and later admits this to Andy, who leaves the Kappa Tau house because of this. The betrayal of Rusty to his younger brother infuriates Cappie, who likens the situation to when Evan stole Casey from him, however when Cappie and Evan start reminiscing and become friends, Cappie also forgives Rusty.
Unable to bury her feelings for Cappie, Casey tries to reconnect with Cappie, only for him to reject her. Casey breaks up with Max because she doesn't ever think she'll feel the same with him as she does with Cappie. Season Three begins shortly after Homecoming of the academic year — Casey's break up with Max was difficult, but she put her energy into her participation in Panhellenic.
Calvin and Grant quietly begin a relationship, and Evan helps them keep it a secret from the rest of Omega Chi. Rusty and Jordan take their relationship to the next level, but due to a once in a lifetime opportunity Jordan moves to New York, and the two split up.
Cappie and Evan's friendship is discovered by Casey and the three are friends again. When Thanksgiving rolls around Cappie and Casey share a special moment and get back together.
Dale and Rusty begin to fight when they are put up for the same academic grant. Cappie and Evan make a deal to unite their houses against Officer Huck, but Evan betrays Cappie and three Kappa Tau brothers are expelled.
The Gamma Psi house burns down, and the ZBZ house is to blame, but eventually Casey breaks down from the guilt and tells Katherine what happened. Grant and Calvin break up, because Grant wants to know what being single is like.
